Attending BioProcess International in Boston, MA this September? Find us at Booth #656

By Yujiao Zhang

KACTUS is excited to attend the BioProcess International US event, which will take place from September 19-21, 2023, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA. This event is the largest bioprocessing event for learning how to accelerate promising biologics, cell & gene therapies towards commercial success. We’re looking forward to hearing the latest advancement in cell and gene therapy and understanding current hurdles around clinical trials and commercialization.

Our team hopes to offers solutions for cell and gene therapy commercialization with our selection of GMP-Grade and GMP-Ready enzymes as well as AAV ELISA Kits for AAV titer quantification.

Featured Products

GMP-Grade CRISPR Cas9 and Cas12a

KACTUS offers GMP-Grade Cas9 and GMP-Ready Cas12a with >95% purity and high editing activity demonstrated in multiple cell types. Additionally, we offer a Cas9 Nuclease ELISA kit for detection of residual Cas9 in edited cells.

Figure 1. Gene knockout efficiency of our CRISPR Cas9 analyzed in nucleofected 293T, Jurkat, and T cells using TIDE analysis. Results show greater than 95% editing efficacy across all three cell types, comparable to leading suppliers.

GMP-Grade MaxNuclease

KACTUS's GMP-Grade MaxNuclease has been developed and verified with reference to cGMP production standards. MaxNuclease offers higher degradation activity than leading competitors demonstrated by lower Host Cell DNA (HCD) residue for both 25U/mL and 50U/mL working concentrations. In conjunction with the GMP-Grade MaxNuclease, we offer a MaxNuclease ELISA kit for quantification of residual MaxNuclease in samples.

Figure 2. Virus harvest solution was treated with 25U/mL and 50U/mL endonuclease at 37°C for 2 hours, respectively. Detection of Host Cell DNA (HCD) residue was analyzed. KACTUS MaxNuclease has higher degradation activity versus Competitor B demonstrated by lower HCD residue for both 25U/mL and 50U/mL working concentrations.

AAV ELISA Kits

KACTUS's AAV ELISA Kits are designed to detect and quantify full and empty AAV capsid proteins in biological samples. These kits are easy to use and provide accurate and reliable results with low background, high sensitivity, and high specificity. We currently offer an AAV9 detection kit and AAV5 detection kit

Laminin 521

KACTUS's Laminin 521 is a recombinant protein that can be used as a matrix protein for culture of human pluripotent stem cells and other cell types. Laminin 521 has been shown to improve cell attachment, survival, and proliferation. Our Laminin 521 comes in both research-grade and preclinical-grade versions.
