What is BIO International Convention?

Hosted annually by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), the BIO International Convention serves as one of the biotechnology industry’s largest global gatherings for scientific exchange, business development, investment, and networking. The event connects organizations across the biotech ecosystem, from emerging startups to global pharmaceutical companies, while highlighting breakthroughs across therapeutics, manufacturing, AI-driven discovery, precision medicine, diagnostics, and cell and gene therapy.

BIO 2026 will feature more than 150 sessions across 18 focus areas, along with company presentations, partnering meetings, networking opportunities, and specialized programming designed to accelerate innovation and collaboration throughout the industry.
