CRIS-PURR started out as the lab's pest control expert, chasing down mice and keeping the labs at KACTUS free of intruders.

One day, he wandered a bit too close to an active CRISPR experiment.

As the CRISPR-Cas9 system was in action, a mix of curiosity and a bit of luck transformed him. CRIS-PURR suddenly gained the extraordinary power to make genetic edits himself!
