Product Description
Recombinant Biotinylated Human Siglec-9 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Gln18-Gly348.
Product Background
Siglec-9 is a sialic-acid-binding lectin expressed predominantly on myeloid cells. Aberrant glycosylation occurs in essentially all types of cancers and results in increased sialylation. Thus, when the mucin MUC1 is expressed on cancer cells, it is decorated by multiple short, sialylated O-linked glycans (MUC1-ST).
Product Category
Recombinant Protein
Target
Siglec-9

Shipped at ambient temperature.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22um filtered solution in 25mM MES, 150mM NaCl (pH 5.5). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution
Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 25mM MES, 150 mM NaCl (pH 5.5).
Stability And Storage
Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Biotinylated Human Siglec-9 on Bis-Tris PAGE under reduced condition. The purity is greater than 95%.
