 Recombinant Biotinylated Mouse Integrin alpha L beta 2 (ITGAL&ITGB2) Heterodimer Protein is expressed as a heterodimer of ITGAL and ITGB2 by co-expression in HEK293. Subunit ITGAL is fused with a His tag, an Avi tag and an acidic tail at the C-terminus, subunit ITGB2 is fused with a basic tail at the C-terminus without tag.It contains Tyr24-His1088 (ITGAL) acidic tail and Gln24-Asn702 (ITGB2) basic tail.

Product Background

 Integrin αLβ2 is one member of the integrin family and also called leukocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1). It is widely expressed on T lymphocytes and controls the function and, in particular, the migration of immune cells[1]. Active αLβ2 can bind ICAM­1/CD54, ICAM­2, ICAM3 and JAM­1[2].

Formulation
 Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution
 Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 ug or less, at 1mg/ml for 500ug or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
Stability And Storage
 -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.；-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.；Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
