Product Description

 Recombinant Human IL-2 R beta&IL-2 R alpha&IL-2 R gamma Protein is expressed as a heterodimer of IL-2 R beta and IL-2 R alpha&IL-2 R gamma by co-expression in HEK293. Both subunit IL-2 R beta and subunit IL-2 R alpha&IL-2 R gamma are fused with a hFc tag and an Avi tag at the C-terminus.It contains Ala27-Thr240 (IL-2 R beta) & Glu22-Gln240 (IL-2 R alpha) & Leu23-Ala262 (IL-2 R gamma).

Product Background

 IL-2 exerts its pleiotropic activities through binding to different receptor complexes, depending on which of the components are expressed on the cell surface: the alpha chain (IL-2Ra), beta chain (IL-2Rb), and common cytokine receptor gamma chain (g). A complex with three subunits—IL-2Ra, IL-2b, and gc—binds with high affinity (Kd , 10 pM) and is the receptor form on activated T cells. The high-affinity receptor complex mediates most biological effects of IL-2 in vivo.

Reconstitution
 Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 ug or less, at 1mg/ml for 500ug or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
