Product Description
Recombinant Human SKP1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the N-terminus and Avi tag at the C-terminusIt contains Pro2-Lys163.
Product Background
The S-phase Kinase-Associated Protein 1 (SKP1) is a core component of the SKP1, Cullin 1, F-box protein (SCF) complex, an E3 ubiquitin ligase that serves to poly-ubiquitinate a vast array of protein targets as a signal for their proteasomal degradation, thereby playing a critical role in the regulation of downstream biological processes.

Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution
Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 ug/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Stability And Storage
Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Human SKP1 on Bis-Tris PAGE under reduced condition. The purity is greater than 95%.
The purity of Human SKP1 is greater than 95% as determined by SEC-HPLC.
