 Recombinant Biotinylated Human Integrin alpha 4 beta 1 (ITGA4&ITGB1) Heterodimer Protein is expressed as a heterodimer of ITGA4 and ITGB1 by co-expression in HEK293. Subunit ITGA4 is fused with a His tag, an Avi tag and an acidic tail at the C-terminus, subunit ITGB1 is fused with a basic tail at the C-terminus.It contains Tyr34-Thr977(ITGA4) acidic tail and Gln21-Asp728(ITGB1) basic tail.

Product Background

 Integrins alpha-4/beta-1 (VLA-4) and alpha-4/beta-7 are receptors for fibronectin. They recognize one or more domains within the alternatively spliced CS-1 and CS-5 regions of fibronectin. They are also receptors for VCAM1. Integrin alpha-4/beta-1 recognizes the sequence Q-I-D-S in VCAM1. Integrin alpha-4/beta-7 is also a receptor for MADCAM1.
