Human Integrin alpha 2 beta 1 (ITGA2&ITGB1) Heterodimer Protein (ITG-HM1AB) Summary
Product Description |
Recombinant Human Integrin alpha 2 beta 1(ITGA2&ITGB1) Heterodimer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus of ITGA2.It contains Tyr30-T1132(ITGA2) acidic tail and Gln21-Asp728(ITGB1) basic tail. |
Product Background |
The α2β1 integrin, also known as VLA-2, GPIa-IIa, CD49b, was first identified as an extracellular matrix receptor for collagens and/or laminins. It is now recognized that the α2β1 integrin serves as a receptor for many matrix and nonmatrix molecules. It plays a critical role in platelet function and homeostasis. |
